Eminem Remarries Ex-Wife Kim Mathers
Couple wed in an intimate ceremony in Rochester, Michigan, on Saturday.
Would the real Slim Shady please kiss the bride?
A month after telling a Detroit radio station he was back together with ex-wife Kim Mathers, Eminem remarried his high school sweetheart Saturday in an intimate ceremony at Meadow Brook Hall, a 110-room mansion located in Rochester, Michigan.
"Family and close friends were in attendance, including members of D12, 50 Cent, Obie Trice and members of G-Unit," Em's publicist, Dennis Dennehy said. The rapper's hype man, D12 rapper Proof, served as best man.
Eminem and Kim arrived by limousine as news helicopters flew above and paparazzi flocked around them. Dennehy said that New York DJ Lord Sear entertained at the reception as lobster tails and filet mignon were served. The couple will take their honeymoon later this year.
Eminem ended the couple's first marriage after two years in October 2001 (see "Eminem's Divorce From Kimberly Mathers Finalized"), and launched a legal fight for custody over their young daughter, Hailie Jade.
Kim, who has been the unflattering subject of violent songs like "Kim" on The Marshall Mathers LP, in which Em rapped about killing his wife, attempted suicide in the couple's home in 2000 following a hometown concert by the rapper at the Palace of Auburn Hills and was arrested on drug charges in 2003.
The rapper, 33, and his ex, 30, reconciled last year, before Em's announcement last month on WKQI-FM's "Mojo in the Morning".

Lucky 7 for Eminem's 'Curtain Call'
Canadians continued to dip into their wallets to buy up Eminem's latest release, "Curtain Call."
The Detroit rapper's hits package remained at the top of the Canadian album charts for a seventh consecutive week, selling over 8,000 copies.
Slim Shady now has his eye on the Canadian Nielsen SoundScan record for consecutive weeks at No. 1, which is currently held by Shania Twain's "Up," which was the top disc in the land for 11 straight weeks between Nov. 2002 and Feb. 2003.
Meanwhile, James Blunt's "Back To Bedlam" (7,000) remained at No. 2 and Madonna's "Confessions On A Dancefloor" was unchanged at No. 3.
"MuchDance 2006" moved from No. 5 to No. 4, Nickelback's "All The Right Reasons" gained another two spots this week to No. 5, and Johnny Cash's "The Legend of Johnny Cash" climbed four to No. 6.
Il Divo's "Ancora" dropped from No. 4 to No. 7, the Black Eyed Peas' "Monkey Business" held steady at No. 8, Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway" occupied the No. 9 spot, and Chicago's Fall Out Boy rose six spots to No. 10 with their new disc "From Under the Cork Tree."
Once again, there were no other new entries in the top 50 this week.
In the U.S., Jamie Foxx's "Unpredictable" returned to the No. 1 position, followed by Mary J. Blige's "The Breakthrough" in second, Eminem in third, Carrie Underwood's "Some Hearts" in fourth, and Johnny Cash in fifth.
EMINEM'S NEW ALBUM ENCORE TO HIT STORES IN NOVEMBER
(Credit to Radio 88.1 FM for most of the useful info on « Encore » )
For all the impatient people (like me), who can’t wait until the release of Eminem’s new « Encore » album, I thought that it would be more than useful to gather the more detailed info about Marshall Mathers’ upcoming album.
Marshall has decided to declare the war to the net’s piracy and he wants to avoid it by finishing the album just a few days before its release.
According to a responsible from Universal Music, the security on this album will be more severe:
« The security on this album has been taken to another level, so much so that it won’t be completed until the week before it comes out. »
Despite the great security measures that have been taken would you believe me, if I told you that I have seen Eminem’s new album under the title « The Return Of Slim Shady » available in torrent files on the Internet?

Most of the tracks will be produced by great producer Dr Dre himself.
Although a lot of secrets about the album are kepts, fan could discover photo shots from Eminem’s new single « Just Lose It » where the rapper appears totally naked. A provocation for narrow minded people, but a great pleasure for an amused and pleased public!
Eminem doesn’t seem to be bothered to strip naked anyway, according to a cameraman who’s been filming the scenes:
« He wasn’t shy in stripping off, despite all the people on set. He even remained naked during the breaks in filming and messed about with us all. And remember, it was freezing.”
Eminem’s apparition on TRL interpreting an exerpt of « Just Lose It » has also been available on the net- for our greatest pleasure. It promises to be a real bomb. The future song has a little bit of the so much funny « Without Me » song and the listeners have been ready already to enjoy Eminem’s rapid flow.
We may ask what will be Eminem’s image in his new album?
It is hard to answer this question before the album release, but a few details reveal us what kind of image Eminem might expose to us.
It is known by now that the track « Mosh » will be aimed at President Bush. We can be sure that Eminem won’t give up his political engagement against the Bush administration. The album promises to be in the continuity of « The Eminem Show » in that way.
A record-store buyer has listened to some tracks. He reveals us:
« The cuts we heard were very political. Eminem’s distaste for the Bush administration is pretty clear. »
We might also find a little bit of the « Marshall Mathers LP » spirit in « Encore ». Eminem’s new victims in the world of pop music will be Madonna and Michael Jackson. On TRL, Eminem impersonated Madonna and it was quite funny to see.
What else? Be prepared for something crazy, because Eminem is determined to amaze you, as usual.
Eminem Says 'Without Me' Is Not Like Rest Of Album
Eminem insists that his new album, The Eminem Show, due out June 4 on Interscope/Aftermath/Shady Records, is not like his previous efforts, despite the style of the album's first single, "Without Me." The single is currently Number 43 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart.
The artist, who appeared on Saturday Night Live on Saturday (May 11), recently spoke to LAUNCH about the song that disses Vice President Dick Cheney, Limp Bizkit, and Moby.
"The first single is no indication whatsoever how the record is going to sound. That's probably the most different-est song that's most like anything off my last album than what's on this entire album," he said.
However, the "Without Me" video does give an indication of the types of programs Eminem enjoyed watching as a kid. In addition to mimicking the Sally Jessy Raphael talk show, Eminem impersonates the Robin character from Batman, one of his favorite superhero programs. "Yeah, growing up, I was a big fan of the TV series of Batman. I was like Batman, Spiderman-ed out. Superman, super heroes growing up or whatever, was my thing for a minute as with any kid who grew up in the '70s, '80s," he says.

Eminem Impersonates Osama Bin Laden In New Video
For Eminem's 1999 commercial debut, "My Name Is," the controversial Detroit-bred rapper impersonated former President Bill Clinton. Now, he switches political hats for his latest video, "Without You," taking on the likeness of leading September 11 terrorist attack suspect Osama bin Laden.
In the video, which features Dr. Dre, D12, and new protege Obie Trice, bin Laden appears on the Sally Jessy Raphael Show. Eminem also portrays Raphael in the video, scheduled to premiere next month.
According to Eminem's spokesperson, the song, which is expected to impact radio on Friday (April 26), is about "the world feeling so empty without Eminem, and why he's coming back."
Eminem is also confirmed to perform on Saturday Night Live on May 11. His third album, The Eminem Show, is scheduled to be released on June 4.
In related news, British magazine The Face agreed to reprint its May issue featuring Eminem on the cover. Eminem was upset that the magazine changed the color of his red shirt to pink. Eminem's red shirt conflicted with the publication's red logo.
"It was done intentionally to cause controversy and to taunt Eminem," the artist's spokesperson told the New York Daily News. "The Face [has now] agreed to publish an issue containing photos as they were originally captured on film."

Eminem Tryst Imagined In New Pet Shop Boys Song
Eminem is the subject of a gay romantic fantasy in a new song by British synth-pop duo, the Pet Shop Boys. Titled "The Night I Fell In Love," the song is first-person fiction by Pet Shop Boys singer Neil Tennant--told from the point of view of a young man--about meeting the hip-hop star, being charmed by him, and then the pair becoming "secret lovers," the group's Chris Lowe tells the Calgary Sun.
Eminem has long angered the gay community with the homophobic lyrics in his songs. Lowe says that the openly gay Tennant wrote "The Night I Fell In Love" "to turn the tables on the rapper," the newspaper reports.
The track can be found on the Pet Shop Boys' latest album, Release, which arrives in the U.S. on April 23.
The Pet Shop Boys kick off a North American tour in support of the album in Miami on May 14.
