 Paris Hilton gets 45 days in jail
Celebrity heiress Paris Hilton has been jailed for 45 days after being found guilty of violating her probation for a drink-driving conviction.
A Los Angeles judge ruled she must start her sentence on 5 June and has no prospect of an early release.
Ms Hilton told the judge she was very sorry and that she would "pay complete attention to everything" from now on.
The socialite said she did not know her licence had been suspended when caught driving without headlights in February.

Paris Hilton's Sidekick hacked
Nearly all the data from Paris Hilton's T-Mobile Sidekick was posted online. Rumors are going around the web that this wasn't really a hack--it was social engineering. Social engineering is a technique used to get information out of people by pretending to be something or someone you are not. In this case it could have been a call to Paris Hilton from something like the "T-Mobile Account Security Division" requesting her login.
Her address book contained over 500 numbers, including some hot celebs such as Lindsay Lohan, Eminem, and Christina Aguilera. Matt Drudge spent the afternoon cold calling the celebs to confirm authenticity. Read More
